I don’t know about you, but I am sick of winter.
OK, that’s putting it mildly.  I am ready for winter to pack up its’ snow and go away.  I am ready for daffodils to shoot their stems through the ground, unfurl their leaves and open their sunny yellow faces to the shining sun.  I am [...]

The room is busy digiscrapping. Here’s my creation:

I can’t even begin to tell you all the cool editing I was able to do with the Memory Manager software.  And the pages are really easy to whip up with the StoryBook Creator Plus.
HUGE thanks to @RockStarJenny & @Creative_Mems for supporting I_Blog.  And thanks to Amber [...]

Yesterday passed with many of my Facebook and Twitter friends wishing me a “Happy Birthday!”  Thanks to everyone for their wishes, my birthday was, indeed, happy.
Of course I didn’t spend it relaxing or pampering myself, though I did get my hair cut and colored in preparation for I_Blog- which is next weekend!
Nope, what I did [...]

One of my favorite hobbies is scrapbooking.  I have, no joke, thousands of items: paper, ribbons, stickers, brads, paints, stamps, rub-ons…  Really the list can go on and on and on…  If you’ve been hanging around here long enough you remember when I purchased the “trash can” to hold it all (which it doesn’t- I [...]

I spent much of Sunday working on things around the house.  You know, the usual: laundry- because it NEVER ENDS!, grocery shopping- apparently my family expects to eat, and mending- because girls can be tough on clothes, too.
I worked on something else, too; the camera cozy for my new camera.  You may remember my rant [...]

No, seriously?  Why?
I bought a new camera a couple weeks ago.  A super-sweet Canon Power Shot SX10 IS.  It has a 20x zoom and tons of bells and whistles.  It takes amazing photos that even I, with my limited photographic skills, can’t mess up.
The only problem?  I don’t want an ugly black case.  Honestly, everything [...]

Remember when I did a Moleskine hack for scrappers back in January? I utilize my Moleskine all the time and love it.
If my hack isn’t for you, I want to direct you to the Definitive Collection of Moleskine Hacks. It includes my hack and many, many others.

OK, so I’m not even close to done…
Because I have a scrapbooking tote directly next to my desk. And if I’m gonna make a book I’m gonna make it pretty… It could be a bigger project than I anticipated…
I got the basic idea from JessicaKnows… I’m holding her responsible…

I don’t get to spend the entire day at Archiver’s. They are having a Holiday Extravaganza that takes up both the cropping rooms. So I’ll leave about 3, do a couple of their free projects and hopefully scrap from 4 until 11.
Right now Doug has run to Home Depot with Caelan and then [...]

Some people are cat people… I’m more of an animal person, myself, in a “dog” phase right now. But my first pet was a cat.
When I moved out on my own I picked the greatest kitten from my grandparent’s farm. She was a long-haired very pale calico. Her grey was almost [...]

Doug’s brother gave him a Wii…
To be honest I’m not really thrilled. In fact, I was kind of proud that we had no game systems in our home. And now we have one…
I’m not a fan of video games and I really don’t want my girls to spend hours in front of the [...]

I like pretty things. This probably comes as no surprise to those who know me. My ideas of “pretty” and “beauty” don’t always match with style guides, though, and often I am left searching for someone who has my taste. Because, although I may be somewhat crafty, I just don’t have all [...]

Now you’re all supposed to say “Hi Jody” and tell me how brave I am to come forward like this.
I kind of knew I had a problem but I was able to convince myself that since I could get everything to fit in my wonderful tote (pictured below) that it was under control and I [...]

Doug is a big fan of art. Of course there are many things out there that he questions the actual “artistic talents” of the “artist”, but that’s a completely personal thing.
Myself, I don’t know much about art other than “I like it” or “Seriously, Brenna could do that.” Luckily not all art galleries are pretentious [...]
