Moms Nite Out is Presented by Des Moines Area Community College

1

I am so excited that DMACC is helping me make the Des Moines Moms Nite Out a great event for moms in the Des Moines metro!  Their generous support has helped to pay for the location fees and I thank them for helping me show appreciation to local moms!

If you haven’t seen DMACC lately I want to let you know that you are in for a surprise!  I was completely unaware of everything they offered…  From college credit classes for high school students and night classes for working adults to lectures, seminars and events.

Courses range from accounting, agri-business and auto to welding, woodworking and windturbines- and everything in between.  I was amazed when I saw the list.

A couple weeks ago Doug and I were invited to enjoy a gourmet dinner presented by the Iowa Culinary Institute.  I had no idea they not only hosted these dinners but also have a bistro open for lunch during the week!

From a financial point of view DMACC makes sense, too.  It costs less than 4-year colleges.  You get the first 2 years done for less money and transfer your credits.   It’s just good financial sense.

I invite you to check out DMACC whether you’re looking for a new career, your child is graduating from high school or you just want to continue your education.  You may be surprised at what you find.

And don’t forget to register for Moms Nite Out! Only 100 tickets are available!

DMACC rocks! (And I’m not just saying that because my husband teaches there! :) They really have amazing programs, as well as a fantastic campus in Ankeny. I hope to eat at the bistro sometime! So excited that they’re helping you with Mom’s Nite Out! What great support!
