The Des Moines Register has a place just for moms.  It’s called Des Moines Moms Like Me.  You can access it online and get involved in conversations with other local moms (and even dads) about, well, practically anything.  You can also pick up their free newspaper in many locations like Hy Vee and the library (look for it wherever you see CityPages and Juice, usually in foyers and entryways.

My friend Jen Hanson- who I met via social media- interviewed me for Des Moines Moms Like Me and I am “Mom of the Month” for January 2010.  It’s a great way to begin my new year!  You can see the interview here or pick up a paper locally (I’ll even autograph it for you!).
