I know I’m odd, but I really don’t mind getting ready for a garage sale.  It’s kind of fun for me to see all the clothes the girls have outgrown and remember when they wore them.  I also really like clearing my house of “stuff”.  You know…  things that we have received that we don’t use, toys the girls don’t play with, DVDs we no longer watch.

So today and tomorrow I’ll be preparing for a one-day sale on Saturday.  Lots of little girl clothes, toys, books…  And whatever else I can find.

Know what else I love to do?  Organize the sale.  I’m completely anal about organized garage sales!  Everything is set out, neatly, clothing sizes labeled.  I can’t stand sales where it looks like things have been tossed on tables to be dug through. {{shudder}}

I’m hoping to make enough for a new digital camera.  I’ve been studying the Consumer Reports and have my eye on a couple.  I know I should use the money to pay down bills but my camera is beginning to do weird things- like only take half a picture, record video without sound or record video instead of taking a picture- so it’s time for a new one.
