I buy the majority of the girls clothing at garage sales or consignment shops.  I want them to look nice but I just can’t bring myself to spend a lot of money on clothes they are going to grow out of so quickly.  Luckily I live in an area where other people don’t have the same qualms.

Anyway… I was at a garage sale a couple weekends ago and happened upon a brand new pair of Children’s Place jeans. Still had the tags on them… $36 new. I paid $6. Cool.

They are a size 5 so I wasn’t sure if they would fit Brenna or if I would just be putting them back for Caelan to grow in to.  I let Brenna try them on when she got home from school.  Yea!  They fit!

And now for the punchline:

“But mom,” she said to me, “Why are there tags on these jeans?”
